EDCTP is organizing a two-day interactive training for
beneficiaries of EDCTP2 (principal investigators, project managers and
finance) based in West Africa, within the framework of multi-projects
recently approved EDCTP2 beneficiaries.
The workshop will be led by Abdoulie Barry, administrative and financial director and
Dr. Pauline Beattie, Director of Operations. It will take place in English with
possibility of translation into French translation.
The training will include a wide variety of presentations:

 Multi-beneficiary grants: the relationship between beneficiaries
 The role and responsibilities of the coordinator
 Appendix 1 dissected
 Ethics deliverables and requirements
 The grant agreement – ​​main financial points
 Eligible costs

 Special financial rules
 Financial reports
 Financial reviews, audits, site visits
 Project reports
 Documentation (deliverables) and record keeping
 Dissemination, exploitation and open access
 Recognition of EDCTP
There is no doubt that this training will make it more fluid and efficient
the execution of current projects as well as that of future projects. A
fifty participants are expected. A second formation is
scheduled for December in Nairobi for beneficiaries of projects in Africa
eastern.
